Fall continues to be my favorite season to photograph families. Today's post contains a look back at two families I had the privilege of photographing this fall. One family was bringing their baby to his very first portrait session. The second family was celebrating a 1 year birthday and completing the last session of my Baby's 1st Year Portrait Plan.
This first session took place at Loomis Basin Regional Park. You may recognize this family from a post earlier this year featuring their maternity session. May I introduce baby William...
William was happy and curious as we cooed over him and I snapped away catching his many
expressions.
Snuggling with mom and dad.
Big sister also got her time in the limelight. I have known this cutie and photographed her since she was a wee babe too!

This next session took place at Horton's Iris Farm. Baby Eli turned 1 in October. I couldn't believe it had already been a year since I photographed him being born!
I am loving that they went with coordinated flannel shirts for their outfits. It fit the farm setting so perfectly.
Poor Eli wasn't feeling too well on the day of his portrait session. But we did get some smiles out of him regardless. I'm tenacious and patient when it comes to waiting for little one's to smile. I also have to weigh and feel out when they are just DONE with the portrait session.
This truck full of pumpkins was a source of great curiousity and fun.
It has been a great year getting to know Eli and watch him grow. In 2014 he will be getting a baby brother or sister!
